Myalup was our last stop before getting into Perth, so we decided to head out to a very unique campground called Preston Lime.
Preston Lime is a large private property, which is owned by a couple who have generously decided to share their piece of paradise with travellers like us, and all they ask for in return is a donation.
When I say this site has a lot to share I’m not exaggerating, there’s a real hobbit house, farm animals, a lake, heaps of grass, amazing bird life and a plane. Yes. I said a plane.
The owner also has an amazing car collection that he is happy to take people for rides in. He even gave me a dozen eggs fresh from his chickens. Amazing huh!
Preston Lime is only a few hours from Bunbury, so we headed out one day to an area with an awesome lookout, a playground on the foreshore and my personal favourite a huge fruit and vegetable market shop, but kids were pretty keen to get back to camp and play in that plane!
So how did the caravan internet fair at Preston Lime? Well, the download was fine, but the upload was too slow for me to run a webinar, so I hooked up the Out There Internet system and, I could use either my Optus or Telstra SIM as they were both great speeds.
